  • Are we local?
Yes, we are a local family owned company that does service in all of Yuma County.
  • How long should a roof last?
As long as your roof has been properly ventilated and installed you should get pretty close to that 25 years of roof life. The average lifespan of a roof usually ranges between 25 to 50 years. However, a roof’s life expectancy ultimately depends on the quality, durability and type of materialchosen. You typically get what you pay for, and the larger the investment for a new roof, the longer it will provide protection for your home, but there are many options homeowners and commercial property owners should consider when choosing the best type of roofing material.
  • Do I need to check my insulation?
Insulation is a requirement in your home and it provides resistance to heat flow and lowers your heating and cooling costs making your home more energy efficient. There are numerous reasons why checking your attic regularly is important, notably it's the first place leaks will show themselves. If a leak occurs, there will be signs of it in your attic before anywhere else. We recommend checking your attic once every 3 to 6 months.
  • What are energy audits?
An energy audit is an inspection and analysis of energy flows in a building with the objective of understanding the energy efficiency of the place being audited. It is the first step in identifying opportunities to reduce energy expense and carbon footprint.
  • How often do I tune-up my AC?
You should have your air conditioner and HVAC system serviced every 6 months: once in the fall and once in the spring. This is to ensure that it's clean, that its parts are in good shape and that it's operating as optimally as possible.
  • How often do I change my air filters?
It is a general recommendation that you should change your air filter in your home every 30 days when using less expensive fiberglass filters. If not changed as advised, you or your family may experience the following symptoms from a dirty air filter or air ducts: respiratory infections, worsened allergies or asthma and/or frequent sinus infections.
  • For Solar, What are my purchase options?
You can purchase a solar system, or you can lease a solar system for as little as 0% Down.
  • Why do I still have an APS bill?
Yes, you'll still continue to receive monthly electricity bills from your utility because you need to stay connected to the grid. In some months, if your energy demand is higher than what your solar energy can generate and you end up purchasing more electricity from the grid, you could see a small electricity charge on your APS bill or start building up credit for the energy not used.
  • Do we finance?
Home improvements are definitely a very important investment to make and we understand your concerns. Depending on the type of service and product, EcoEnergy works with different financial companies that offer flexible financing plans such as low APR and no interest up to 60 months.
  • What are the warranties on repairs?
    ● Roof Repairs - All warranties go from 6 months to a year depending on the repair type. ● Solar - 25 Years of Workmanship, Roof Penetration, Inverter Parts & Solar Panel Parts & Labor.
  • How often should I get my solar panels cleaned?
This is a very popular question frequently asked by homeowners. It is recommended to clean solar panels every 6 months to a year to maintain the productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of the panels.
  • How often should I have my roof inspected?
Get the most out of your roofing investment by diligently and regularly checking on the overall health of your roof. Despite knowing the average lifespan of various roof types, you must continue to monitor your roof’s health to know how often to replace your roof. Your roof’s lifespan can be extended with proactive maintenance and annual inspections. Our experts recommend annual inspections to keep a close eye on the roof, just like you would do for your HVAC systems, car and other large investments you’d like to prolong the life of. These inspections help experts spot small issues before they turn into big problems. Typical warning signs you need a new roof include: damage to roof material, leaks and water damage, discoloration to ceiling, visible damage to roof and exterior, and pests getting inside.
