They prioritize repairs based on your budget, from must-do to nice-to-have. BPI Certified Professionals comply with BPI standards set by today's leading building science experts while working on your house. As certified energy efficiency professionals, we are dedicated to creating changes in your house that save energy and help protect the environment. We take a unique approach to home improvement, keeping ourselves to the highest quality standards in our work. We will take care of your home as if it was our own.

OPTIMIZING DUCTWORK AIR FLOW

Even if you have the most energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment, poor air flow in your ducting can make your house uncomfortable. We may use air flow balancing to identify inefficiencies in your duct system and make necessary adjustments to optimize it. In circumstances when your ductwork is undersized or incorrectly constructed, redesigning your ducts and, if necessary, installing more ducts or returns can help you get the most out of your HVAC systems. EcoEnergy Solutions provides a variety of duct solutions to assist you in identifying and addressing problem areas in your ductwork. Our professionals can inspect your ducts for leaks or poor design, seal your ducting for increased efficiency, and replace damaged ducts where sealing is not an option. We're dedicated to saving you money on utility costs, so you can rely on our efforts to improve the energy efficiency of your house.

BENEFITS

  • Comfort

  • Safety

  • Lower energy bills

  • Indoor Air Quality

  • Better Air Flow

  • Environmentally friendly

BLOWER DOOR PRESSURE TEST

A blower door is used by home energy specialists as a diagnostic tool to assess how much air is entering or escaping from your home. The diagnostic information given by your contractor is used to detect the locations of air leakage in your house to perform energy-saving changes. A blower door is a powerful fan that is temporarily mounted into the frame of an outside entryway in your home by a certified energy professional. Following calibration, the fan draws air out of the home, decreasing the air pressure within. The increased outside air pressure then enters through any unsealed gaps, fissures, or holes, such as gaps, cracks, or wire penetrations. If the conditions do not allow reducing the pressure in the home, the fan can run in reverse.

BENEFITS

  • Reduced energy usage from excessive air leakage

  • Prevent outside toxins, pests, and odors from invading your house.

  • Avoiding drafts generated by cold or warm air pouring in from the outside

  • Avoid moisture condensation issues

  • Selecting the appropriate size and airflow requirements for heating and cooling equipment.

  • Determining if mechanical ventilation is required in your house to supply adequate fresh air and preserve indoor air quality

AIR BALANCING

Do you notice a significant difference in temperature from one room to the next? Is there any part of the house or building that is warmer or colder than others? The goal of air balancing is to correct these sorts of airflow difficulties and distribute temperatures equally across the building. To supply the appropriate flow of air conditioning to every location in the building, the procedure requires evaluating and modifying an existing HVAC system. Air balance is a critical component of major commercial building projects, but the same concepts may be easily applied to individual houses or apartment complexes. Air balancing may help boost the efficiency of the air conditioning system, reduce energy costs, and wear on HVAC systems in addition to enhancing comfort levels during the summer months.

AN AIR BALANCING EXAMINATION MAY REVEAL THE FOLLIWING HVAC ISSUES:

  • Inspect HVAC Regularly (at least once a year)

  • Change Furnace and Duct Filters According to the Manufacturers' Recommendations

  • Turn to Professionals for Cleaning, Deodorizing, and Disinfecting of Air Ducts

  • Install UV Lights: Odors can be eliminated by placing UV lamps within ducts. Additionally,

  • They work as a sanitizer, killing fungus, bacteria, and mold spores. These germs are also unable to reproduce in the presence of UV rays.
